Kate is a regular voice on 6Music’s Roundtable and across London’s multifarious internet radio stations. From 2017-2023, Kate had a monthly radio show on Worldwide FM where she played new music from around the world, joined by guests such as Stewart Lee, Anoushka Shankar, Floating Points, Arooj Aftab, Hot Chip, Novelist, Mr Jukes, Songhoy Blues, Ikonika, Throwing Shade, Nicola Cruz, Nosaj Thing, Kelly Lee Owens, Seun Kuti, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Yaeji and Kojey Radical. In 2024, she joined Bill Brewster’s Low Life show on NTS to talk about the importance of girlbands and promote her BBC podcast, Where It’s At.

In November 2019, Kate hosted a daily ‘Don’t Drive Time’ show on Extinction Rebellion’s pop-up station Rebel Radio, interviewing Simon Amstell, George Monbiot, Caroline Lucas, Susie Orbach and more about the climate emergency, which Miranda Sawyer featured in the Observer (“her interview with Amstell was one of the best I’ve heard with him”). In 2018 and 2019, Kate recorded two shows for Red Bull Radio’s Counter Intelligence series, on Zudrangma Records in Bangkok, Thailand, and with the legendary Jimmy’s Records in Nairobi, Kenya.

In 2016, Kate hosted the Guardian Radio Hour on NTS – a 10-week series from the Guardian where special guests lifted the lid on their musical passions. Guests included Neneh Cherry, Bobby Gillespie, Matthew Herbert, Richard Dawson, Anna Meredith and Fat White Family. The same year she hosted a four-part series for Beats 1 called Breaking Good, featuring guests Christine and the Queens, Lady Leshurr, Metronomy's Joe Mount, the late Andrew Weatherall and David Holmes.

Kate’s introduction to radio was in the late-2000s as a runner on Jon Kennedy’s XFM show. In the early 2010s, she ran London Fields Radio, the capital’s first podcasting micro-station, which broadcast out of the Wilton Way Cafe in east London. She has hosted shows on Resonance, Bestival Radio and more.
